When I try to power it on I hear five long beeps and the on/off light flashes yellow. I have a HP Envy desktop computer running Windows 8.Tried - New HDMI Cable Tried - New Monitor Tried - Running 2 differant VGA Tried - New CMOS Battery Tried - New Ram Tried - Removing all non crucial parts None of this worked. It seems the 5 beeps can be caused by a few things. After 4-5 months, Gigabyte released the ATX version, i felt so upset but. They only have i think a EATX and mATX and i got the cheaper mATX for around $200 USD.
The short beeps come first then the 5 long beeps that I normally get. The 5 beeps I've been complaining about are long beeps. It has same issue on top of like 4-6 extra short beeps.Pressing the power button will start the unit with a loud GPU fan spinning fast and the system beeps 6 times (along with red led) then pause 2 seconds, then 6 beeps again.
